Since early 2009 Brightspot Market has gained wide recognition for being the place to find all things cool under one roof. On December 9th, 2010 the Brightspot team will open THE GOODS DEPT• in a 1066 square meter space in Plaza Indonesia. This unique and multidimensional retail environment will be the hub for alternative fashion and lifestyle products from independent Indonesian designers and the coolest international brands. Those who hang out in the space will find everything from clothing and accessories to unique homewear, bicycles, cameras and more. The venue will feature rotating events including art exhibitions, film screenings and fashion shows.
In late December THE GOODS DEPT• will also launch THE GOODS CAFÉ•, a casual café and bar the center of the store. After recently returning from studying and working in San Francisco, Chef Erlene Susanto has created an eclectic menu inspired by California-style comfort food and locally available ingredients. THE GOODS CAFÉ• will be the perfect spot for the cool and creative to convene.
Due to expansion of our Retail business in Indonesia, we are seeking highly motivated individuals for our :
Requirements:
* Setting up company financial system.
* Control over accounting related areas: treasury, taxation, payables,
payroll and statistic filing.
* Manage the financial month-end closing, leading to timely preparation
and analysis of quarterly and annual financial/statutory reports, in
compliance with local and other statutory, legislative and regulatory
requirements.
* Ensure proficiency and effectiveness in day-to-day accounting
operations, month-end account closing and year-end closing
* Liaise with Company’s auditor, secretary, tax agent and government
authorities.
* Lead Finance Department for the function of Finance, Accounting, Tax,
Internal Control, MIS etc. Capable to manage full set of account: AR, AP,
Cash Flow, Banking and Costing.
* Plan, manage, coordinate, and implement the year end closing processes
and procedure; conduct year-end closing process; provide information to
financial auditors; conduct self standard internal audits of various
accounting records
* Provide technical accounting support and interpretation to employees.
* Bachelor Degree in accounting with min 3 years working experience in
Finance / Accounting field
* English fluency, Computer literate and communication capabilities
* Prior Experience in Retail and F&B Industries is preferred
